Sometimes artists aren't looking to have their songs published but need good quality music demos produced to market on their own, to obtain management, to gain bookings, etc. Our music demo packs and prices include many options to satisfy your needs: added instrumentation, instrumental effects, added vocals, new vocals, vocal harmonies, and so on. We offer song demo services for a fee. We have various options for song demo services depending upon the detail of the demo service and the number of songs requested. Our music demo prices are influenced by the service requested for each music demo: they may be simple music demos or elaborate music demos. For a detailed list of all the specific song (music) demo options we offer, visit our Music Demo Order Form.
We once considered credit card payment as an option for our music demo services. Because the nature of music demos sometimes requires additional or unforseen work requested from the artist beyond the initial intention, the "pre-pay in full" credit card option is often impractical. Therefore, we only accept initial payments in the form of either money orders or cashier's checks . Why? Because we do not cash these payments until the music demo service is complete. If additional services are requested from the initial order, we will talk to you about additional costs (if any) so you are treated fairly.
Also, if we hold your money order or cashier's check and could not deliver a decent music demo for whatever reason, we would send your payment back to you. We are here to treat you right and hope to have your repeated business in the future.

We are often asked what the difference is between music demo services and song demo services. "Music demo"is a more inclusive term: it can mean creating just an instrumental demo (no vocals) or a complete demo with both music and vocals.

MUSIC PUBLISHING SERVICES
Our main interest is publishing original songs that are radio friendly, commercial, and Top 40 oriented. In other words, we are mostly interested in hit songs for solo artists or bands. Although we do publish good album-type songs (fillers), there still needs to be a potential hit on your complete CD for us to publish a collection (catalog) of your original music.
If you are a singer-songwriter (solo artist), a songwriting band , or simply a non-performing songwriter looking to promote your career, we may be interested in your songs.
Our independent music publishing company has connections throughout the business: record companies, other publishers, record producers, recording artists, booking agents, etc.
As with all legitimate music publishing companies, our music demo services are free if we choose to create a new master demo of your original songs or edit them in any way to enhance the final demo for marketing and promotional purposes and to publish your songs.
Mile High Music Publishing does not charge any fees to publish your original songs: no legitimate music publishing company would do so. Rather, as independent music publishers we make our money on future royalties earned on your songs: 50% goes to the music publisher, and 50% goes to the songwriters. This is standard practice among music publishers. Royalties come in the form of performance royalties , mechanical royalties (national and foreign), synchronization royalties , sheet music royalties , etc.
Independent music publishing companies can often open doors for songwriters who are unknown and who may find it difficult to be heard by busy, major music publishing companies. Being an independent music publishing company does not always mean "small" or "specialized." Rather, we are more open to all styles of music if the songs are great.
