WHITE HOUSE SINGING CONTEST

MILE HIGH MUSIC PRODUCTIONS

P.O. BOX 1209, ANACONDA, MONTANA 59711

Are you a senator, congressman, representative, presidential aide, White House employee or correspondent? Then we have a great White House singing contest for you! If you have a secret desire to let your vocal chords shout out to the rooftops, then check out our White House singing contest! We have something here for everyone (yes, even the President, First Lady, Secret Service, and Vice-President).

Will this mean re-election if you win our White House singing contest or a raise in your salary if you are a White House employee? You never know (ha-ha). Seriously, Mile High Music Productions has the largest collection of music contests in the world. We bet that nobody even thought of considering political people for a singing contest on the Internet. Well, it's a dirty job but someone has to do it, right?

We will offer you the same cash prizes and benefits we offer everyone else. See further below for more details on how to enter our White House singing contest. Who knows, maybe you will become a celebrity after your employment with the White House is completed. Everyone needs a second job or a job after they retire, right? We are giving you the chance to exercise your talents on our website.

This page last modified on Sunday, October 30, 2005

No profanity, racial slurs, or political songs are allowed on this website. Just normal, well-known commercially recorded songs. However, if you have original songs to enter our White House singing contest, please let us know. If you wish to remain anonymous with your White House singing contest entry, we will respect your decision.

3RD PLACE PRIZE:

A $300 VALUE!!

NOTE: This contest is based upon a minimum of 100 entries for each quarterly contest. We at Mile High Music Productions work on the honor system: for each additional 100 entries in any given quarter, your cash prize will go up an additional $100 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places as well!!

So if there were 600 entries in one quarter, the first prize winner will receive $1,500 plus all the other benefits! Second place would get $1,000 and their extra benefits, and third place would receive $700 plus extras. You can't beat a deal like that for only a $30.00 risk, can you? The sky's the limit!

In fact, if you think about it, this is a type of profit-sharing between us: the more entries, the more both of us make. Just imagine what 1,000 entries would bring in for all three-place winners!! Not an impossibility on the world-wide net!

When we decide winners for each contest, we will notify those winners about how many entries there were for that contest. If there are less than 100 entries in one quarter--highly unlikely--then we will notify you as such, and promptly return your submission along with your payment. In that case, we'll continue on with our usual contests the next quarterly period, if your choose to re-submit.
No payments to us will be cashed until after the deadline for submissions and until after we determine the number of entries reaches a minimum of 100. Fair enough? Just don't forget to give us your name and address when you submit your cassette and payment!

In turn, we don't allow refunds on your submissions or checks while we are holding them. This is only fair, as we're sure you realize. We will only return your cassette or CD if the number of entries is less than 100 (but you'll still get your money back, of course!).

We have a number of judges who will listen to and analyze your songs. These people are very experienced and highly capable of song analysis and criticism. In other words, no one single person will judge your songs: it will be a combined effort. Several reviews will take place, a kind of weeding out process. The winners will be based upon the majority opinion of our reviewers. There will be a minimum of three judges for these contests (perhaps more): two from our company, and at least one outside source. This is to assure a fair and unbiased hearing.
Do we have a deal? Good! And GOOD LUCK with your submission!

We have four contests based upon time periods: Summer Contest , Fall Contest , Winter Contest , and Spring Contest . If you submitted songs in all four time periods, you have four chances to win each year!
The deadlines for submissions are as follows: Summer Contest (August 31st); Fall Contest (November 30th); Winter Contest (February 28); and Spring Contest (May 31st).
Decisions and notifications of the winners of each contest will be made sometime at the end of the following months: Summer Contest (September); Fall Contest (December); Winter Contest ((March); and Spring Contest (June).
In each of our CONTEST ENTRY FORMS, there is a place to indicate which time period you are submitting for. The link to our entry form is at the bottom of this page.

Please follow these suggestions for our Quarterly White House Singing Contest:

1. Submit 1 song for each competition (or 2 for $50.00).
We do not have the time to review more songs at one time per-quarter!
2. Submit your songs on CD or tape cassette.
3. Keep all your songs on one side of the CD or tape cassette.
4. Make sure you have a label on your CD or cassette with your name,
address, and(optional) phone number. Do the same for your lyric sheet.
5. At the beginning of your CD or cassette, mention the following: your name; your address; your phone (optional); how many songs you're submitting; and the style of music.
6. Name the title of each song at the beginning of each recorded song.
7. Leave about 5-10 seconds space between each song.
8. VERY IMPORTANT! When you pay by   money order or cashier's check , be sure to include your name, address, and song titles somewhere on the top or bottom!

To submit 1 song for review in our Quarterly White House Singing Contest, please include a $30.00 money order or cashier's check . This fee covers a one quarter contest; any additional quarters you choose to enter requires the same fee again.

Please submit your payment, your CD or tape cassette, and the WHITE HOUSE SINGING CONTEST ENTRY FORM all together at one time. The link to the order form is found at the bottom of this page.

Thank you and good luck! I hope we can bring you good news about your submission. Don't forget that it takes 1-3 months for winners to be chosen and announced (depending upon when you submitted your CD or cassette). If you don't hear from us after that time period, perhaps you'll submit again for another contest period. Due to the number of submissions, we cannot write to everyone who submits to tell them the results. If you're a winner, you'll hear from us! If you're not (this time around), we thank you now and keep on writing!

GUARANTEED!! If you request, we will ask the winners for their permission to give you their e-mail or postal address so you can contact them. All quarterly contest winners will be posted on our site.

There are hundreds of White House employees. That is why we will judge your singing contest in a special category. We hope that you will encourage fellow employees to enter just for fun if nothing else. If you are a cook or the President, everyone has the same chance of winning. That's what makes this a fun contest. We ARE NOT influenced by what job you have! We do our job professionally. Yes, a janitor might win over the Vice President! Yes, the First Lady might win over the President! Everyone is equal. Please join us in the fun.
